Islam Almersawi

Islam Almersawi has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Frontend Developer at Convergaince since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Developer at Impact Energy Solutions from May 2020 to February 2022. In 2019, they were a Solutions Developer at BeetySolution INC, where they developed software solutions for the oil and gas industry. Islam also has experience as a trainee at Qarun Petroleum Co., East Zeit Petroleum Ltd., AAPG SU SC, PhPC, and Agiba Petroleum Co. Within AAPG SU SC, they held roles such as Marketing Officer, IT Head, and IT Member. Additionally, they served as an SRM member at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Suez University Student Chapter.

Islam Almersawi attended the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Suez University from 2014 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in Petroleum Engineering. During their time there, Islam obtained additional certifications, including being recognized as the "AAPG Best Marketing leader" in December 2016 and the "AAPG Best leader" in October 2016. Islam was also recognized as the "Best marketing member" by AAPG SU SC, although the exact date of this recognition is unknown.
