Iddo Weiner

Iddo Weiner is a highly accomplished biotechnology professional with extensive experience in scientific research and consulting. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Converge Bio and a Biotechnology Consultant at The World Bank, Iddo Weiner also holds the role of Editor at Frontiers. Previous positions include VP of Research, Senior Director, and Head of Bioinformatics at BiomX Inc, as well as Bioinformatics Consultant at MAO FoodTech. Iddo Weiner's early career included a Computational Biologist role at NRGene Ltd., and research and academic roles as a PhD student specializing in biotechnology and bioinformatics at Tel Aviv University. Iddo Weiner holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, and Genetic Engineering, along with a Master of Science in the same fields, and has a background in education as a SAT instructor. Iddo Weiner's foundational experience includes service as a Commander in the IDF paratroopers.
