Danny Parmelee

Vice President Of Church Planting at Converge MidAmerica

Danny Parmelee has a diverse work experience in the church and ministry sector. Danny started their career as a Lead Pastor and Church Planter at epikos Church in Milwaukee in 2004. Danny successfully launched the church in 2005 and held this position until 2017.

In 2006, Danny also took on the role of Director of Church Planting Recruitment at Converge Great Lakes. Danny volunteered to coach new church planters and was later offered this position part-time while maintaining their lead pastor role at epikos Church. In this role, they recruited and assessed church planters, developed systems for LEAD teams, built relationships with district churches, and facilitated retreats and conferences. Danny worked in this position until 2009.

In 2014, Danny joined Hockey Ministries International as an AHL Admirals Hockey Chaplain. Danny worked closely with professional hockey players, offering them spiritual support and guidance at the rink. Danny held this position until 2017.

Danny's most recent role is Vice President of Church Planting at Converge MidAmerica, which they started in 2017.

Danny Parmelee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2000. Danny then pursued a Master of Divinity degree in Evangelism & Cross Cultural Ministry from Bethel University from 2001 to 2003. In 2000, they briefly studied Biblical Hebrew at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
