Anand Muthusamy

Anand Muthusamy is a Research Fellow at Convergent Research, currently working as an Associate at Pillar VC. With a background in Chemistry and Biochemistry, Anand has experience in protein engineering, subcellular opioid pharmacology, bioimaging methods, and machine vision for behavior quantitation. Anand has also worked as a Venture Fellow at Nucleate and a Bio-IT Fellow at 8VC, focusing on emerging technologies in life science. In addition, Anand has previously worked as a Research Chemist at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Chemistry. Anand's leadership skills were showcased as Editor in Chief of the Penn Bioethics Journal.
