Bret Lathrop

Bret Lathrop has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning over several companies. Bret began their career at AT&T Business Communication Solutions as a Territory Support Manager, providing sales and marketing support to field sales teams. Lathrop then moved on to Lucent Technologies, where they served as a National Account Manager, managing client relationships and driving revenue generation.

Following their time at Lucent, Lathrop joined Avaya, first as a CRM Specialist, supporting clients and account teams with their contact center needs. Bret then became a Business Development Manager within Avaya Global Services, leading an engagement management team involved in deploying Avaya's portfolio. Lathrop later served as the Director of Pre-Sales, overseeing a team of pre-sales technology specialists and maintaining relationships with key accounts.

After their tenure at Avaya, Lathrop joined NACR as the Director of Sales & International Alliance Program, leading sales efforts and building the company's brand. Most recently, Lathrop held several senior leadership roles at C1, including Vice President of Product and Solutions, Senior Director of C1CX, Senior Director of Offer Management & Portfolio, and Senior Director of CX Cisco Practice. In these roles, Lathrop focused on ensuring the success of ConvergeOne's offerings in the marketplace, delivering field consumable information, and guiding organizations in their technology journey.

Throughout their career, Lathrop has demonstrated a strong passion for customer experience, technology integration, and sales leadership.

Bret Lathrop earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from the University of North Dakota, where they studied from 1988 to 1992.
