Iván González Ortega

Iván González Ortega has extensive work experience in the field of technology and IT management. Iván began their career in 2000 as a Jefe de Sistemas at Sweda de México, where they actively participated in the development of a Point of Sale system and managed the organization's IT infrastructure.

In 2008, Iván joined Grupo Hasar as a Project Manager, responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing technological solutions for RFID, Warehouse Management Systems, and Mobile Terminals. Iván successfully implemented the sales system for Coca Cola FEMSA during their time with the company.

From 2012 to 2018, Iván worked as an IT Manager at Servicios Administrados Mexis, S.A. de C.V., ensuring the smooth operation and handling of incidents and problems related to the organization's technology infrastructure. Iván implemented Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, and Information Loss Prevention measures.

In 2018, Iván became the Pre-Sales Director at C3NTRO Telecom, where they analyzed, designed, and implemented specialized technological solutions in areas such as Unified Communications, Perimeter Security, Cloud Connectivity, and Data Networks. Iván also provided support to the commercial team in bidding processes and project negotiations.

Iván then served as the IT Director at Grupo COMEX Pinturerías from 2019 to 2020, overseeing the maintenance, operation, and resolution of incidents and problems in the national technological infrastructure. Iván was also responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's IT systems.

In 2021, Iván joined The Anglo Mexican Foundation as an IT Manager, where they ensured the operational stability of IT systems, compliance with service levels, and the execution of the organization's technology strategy. Iván also designed and implemented new technological processes and procedures.

Currently, Iván is working as the Director of Operations at Convergia, where they are responsible for overseeing operational activities within the company.

Throughout their career, Iván has demonstrated strong leadership skills, budget control expertise, and the ability to manage teams and negotiate with suppliers and clients.

Iván González Ortega completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1998 to 2002. In 2019, they pursued further education at Universidad del Valle de México, where they obtained a degree in Engineering in Systems and Information Technologies from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Iván González Ortega has obtained several certifications. Iván received certifications in various fields, including IT service management (ITIL v.4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management), cybersecurity, and Scrum methodology. Iván also has certifications in data analysis and data science from IBM and Cognitive Class. Additionally, they have acquired certifications from Cisco in enterprise networking, security, and automation, as well as switching, routing, and wireless essentials.
