Monica Parks

Monica Parks has been in the workforce since 1993, when they began working as a Child Support Officer for the Texas Attorney General. In 1999, they became the Managing Director of Illuminations Theater with the Deaf. In 2002, they started their own business, M P Ventures. In 2005, they began working as a Staff Interpreter for Visual Communications Services. In 2006, they were promoted to Director of Sorenson Communications and held this role for 11 years. In 2017, they started MYParks Photography, offering a unique selection of fine art and contemporary photographic prints. In 2021, they became the Interpreting Manager at Convo Communications.

Monica Parks attended Lone Star College from 2010 to 2013, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Monica also attended St.Edward's University from 1981 to 1985, where they studied Computer Science. In December 2004, they obtained a Level III certification from the Board of Evaluators of Interpreters.
