Vivek Ananda

Vivek Ananda has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Vivek currently serves as the Director of Information Technology at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, a position they have held since November 2019. Prior to this role, Vivek worked as an Enterprise Architect at the Chicago Police Department from April 2018 to November 2019.

Before joining the Chicago Police Department, Vivek held the position of Chief Information Officer at the Illinois Department of Corrections and Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice from August 2015 to March 2018. Vivek also served as the Information Technology Manager at the Illinois State Police - Forensic Command from September 2010 to August 2015.

Earlier in their career, Vivek worked at Oracle as a Senior Principal Consultant from January 2001 to September 2010. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Development Specialist at CDSI from March 1998 to January 2001.

Vivek Ananda obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma City University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended RV College Of Engineering where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In terms of certifications, Vivek Ananda obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon in July 2018 and is also a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
