Bridget Harney

Bridget Harney is a skilled professional with a diverse background in public affairs and advocacy. Currently serving as a Researcher at the Cook County Treasurer's Office since June 2023, Bridget previously held a Management Intern position at the City of Cedar Park, where collaboration with city leadership and departments focused on enhancing city services for over 80,000 residents. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, and Administrator for Advocacy at the American Academy of Neurology, where Bridget successfully developed training programs for a network of neuroscience professionals. Earlier positions include work with the Wisconsin State Legislature and advocacy programs, alongside a front office management role at Biotron Laboratory. Bridget holds a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
