Bridget Maryott is an experienced professional with a diverse background in communications, marketing, and clinical sciences. Currently serving as the Membership & Communications Director and Development Director at Cook Inletkeeper since April 2019, Bridget previously held the position of Marketing Director at the Homer Chamber of Commerce from August 2016 to April 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Ventana Medical Systems as a CDx Clinical Sciences Assistant, focusing on antibody development and companion diagnostic tissue-based assays, along with a position as Histotechnician II. Bridget co-owned and managed Maryott Optical Services from 1997 to 2008, overseeing office operations and implementing marketing strategies. Educational qualifications include studies at the Ira A. Inletkeeper’s monitoring and science work builds credibility with scientists and resource managers, its education and advocacy efforts enhance stewardship and citizen participation, and together, these efforts translate into Inletkeeper’s ability to effectively ensure a vibrant and healthy Cook Inlet watershed.
