Validation Engineer II at Cook MyoSite

Tami Macon has a diverse work experience, starting in 1998 as a Fraud Detection Clerk at Mellon Bank. Tami was responsible for identifying and evaluating fraudulent transactions and took necessary actions such as closing or blocking accounts. In 2002, they joined the U.S. Postal Service as a Data Conversion Operator, transcribing and verifying data from source documents. Tami worked there until 2008. Since 2011, Tami has been working at Cook MyoSite, where they started as a Bioprocessing Supervisor, performing various production tasks in accordance with quality systems and cGMPs. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Validation Engineer II.

Tami Macon began their education journey in 1997, when they attended ICM School of Business and obtained a Diploma in Secretarial Sciences-Medical. In 1999, they enrolled at the Computer Learning Center and pursued studies in Computer Networking, but it is unclear if they completed a degree in this field. From 2009 to 2011, Tami furthered their education at the Community College of Allegheny County, earning an A.S. degree in Biotechnology. Following this, they attended Point Park University from 2011 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Tami Macon attended the University of Maryland Global Campus and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology-Regulatory Affairs.
