Ivy Malao

Ivy Malao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. They began their career as an Institutional Advancement and Technology Jeff Metcalf Intern at The Ancona School. They later worked as a Global Markets Foreign Exchange IT Intern at State Street, where they gained experience in project management and Agile development. At IBM, Ivy served as a Software and Performance Engineer, specializing in performance engineering and cloud deployment. They then joined Walmart, starting as a Software Engineer for Project Franklin, a startup within Walmart's tech incubator. Ivy later became a Senior Software Engineer for Walmart New Product Innovation, where they played a key role in the rollout of Walmart InHome, a delivery service for fresh groceries. Prior to that, Ivy worked at Apple as a Software Engineer. They are currently employed at Cookin Inc. as a Software Engineer. Throughout their career, Ivy has also held various teaching and research assistant positions at The University of Chicago.
