Leen Li

Leen Li is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in various industries. Leen currently serves as the CEO of Wealthsimple Foundation, a Canadian not-for-profit organization focused on breaking down barriers to post-secondary education. Leen joined the foundation in 2021 and continues to contribute to its mission.

In addition to their role at Wealthsimple Foundation, Leen has also held positions in other companies. Leen was the CFO Advisor at Cookin Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a CFO Advisor at medchart from 2020 to 2022.

Leen's significant experience in finance includes their tenure as the Chief Financial Officer at Wealthsimple from 2016 to 2020. During their time there, they played a key role in building and scaling the company's financial operations, contributing to significant growth in annual recurring revenue and overseeing successful fundraising efforts.

Leen then furthered their studies at Saint Mary's University from 2003 to 2005, earning an MBA degree with a specialization in Finance.
