Rui Melo

Rui Melo is an experienced product designer with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Rui is currently the Director of Product Design at Cookin Inc. and has been in that position since March 2023. Prior to their current role, they served as the Head of Design at Combine Venture Builder from November 2020 to February 2023. Rui also held the position of Global Head of Design at Just Eat Takeaway.com from June 2019 to May 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Design at SkipTheDishes from April 2015 to June 2019. Rui began their career in 2007 as a Product Design Consultant at ruimelo.com, where they managed relationships with tech founders, conducted user testing and market research, and developed product design strategies. Rui also worked as a Web Designer at Pepper.com - The World's Largest Deal Community from November 2013 to April 2015 and as a Lead Designer at Smokehouse Design from June 2011 to June 2013.

Rui Melo attended Red River College from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Graphic Design.
