Darko Borovac

Darko Borovac is an experienced maritime professional with a strong background in vessel maintenance and performance management. Currently serving as Maintenance and Vessel Performance Manager at Cool Company Ltd since October 2016, Darko oversees the efficiency of FSRU and LNG/C fleets while facilitating communication between onshore and offshore teams to drive energy efficiency improvements. Prior to this role, Darko spent 14 years at Golar LNG, progressing from Marine Engineer to Chief Engineer, managing various LNG carriers and participating in FLNG projects. The career began at Hapag-Lloyd as a Marine Engineer, focusing on the maintenance of machinery on container vessels. Darko holds a degree in Maritime from the University of Split, Faculty of Maritime Studies.
