Khama Ennis has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as Owner at Intentional Health, LLC, Founder at Faces of Medicine by Doctorbird, LLC, Immediate Past President of the Medical Staff and Member of the Board of Trustees at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, and Clinician at Virta Health. Khama Ennis has a diverse education history. In 1993, they obtained their High School Diploma from the Wissahickon School District. Later, they pursued higher education and graduated from Brown University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. They continued their academic journey by attending the Harvard School of Public Health, where they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in 2002. Additionally, they attended the NYU School of Medicine, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.

In recent years, Khama Ennis has pursued specialized certifications and fellowships. In 2019, they completed a Certification in Integrated Structural Acupuncture at the University of New England. Moving forward, they plan to enhance their expertise in Integrative Health by pursuing a Fellow degree at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, scheduled to be completed between 2022 and 2024. Furthermore, Khama Ennis intends to acquire a Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in 2023.
