Bret Petersen

Bret Petersen has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and design. Bret is currently employed as a Front End Web Developer & Designer at Coolibar, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this, Bret worked at Irish Titan as a UX/UI Designer from March 2020 to June 2021. Bret has also worked as a Design Consultant for various companies including United Health Group, Target, Spinifex Group, Doremus, Lift, and CBS Interactive from September 2016 to March 2020. Bret has experience as a Senior Interactive Designer at Personal Capital from September 2014 to July 2016, where they led the design of marketing campaigns and collaborated with UX peers. Additionally, they worked as a Design Consultant for AKQA, Google, Creature, Cibo, and Moonshot Ventures from July 2013 to August 2014. Bret's earlier roles include being a Senior Designer at Organic from February 2010 to June 2013, a Designer at Freestyle Interactive from January 2007 to February 2010, and a Designer at Agency.com from October 2005 to January 2007.

Bret Petersen's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled in the University of Minnesota Duluth. Bret pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Graphic Design and completed their studies in 2004. In 2019, they attended Brainco - Advertising and Design School and obtained a UX Design Certificate. Bret further expanded their knowledge in computer software engineering by attending the University of Minnesota in 2021, where they earned a Full Stack Web Developer Certificate. In 2022, Bret obtained additional certifications in Unity, C#, and VR through the Universe institution, including certificates in VR World Building and Advanced Unity, as well as Introduction to Unity and C#.
