Andrew Thomas

Andrew Thomas has extensive experience in the exploration and subsurface sector, currently serving as General Manager of Exploration & Subsurface at Cooper Energy since June 2012. Prior to this, Andrew held several roles at Newfield Exploration, including Sarawak Exploration & New Ventures Manager and International New Ventures Geologist, from September 2003 to June 2012. Andrew's career began at Gulf Canada as an Exploration Geologist from 1998 to 1999 and at Santos Ltd from 1987 to 1996 in a similar capacity. Andrew Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from the University of Adelaide, earned between 1980 and 1984.
