Fred Rincon

Fred Rincon has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare. Fred is currently serving as the Medical Director and Intensivist at Cooper University Health Care since July 2020. In addition, they hold the position of Professor at Rowan University starting from January 2021. Prior to this, Fred Rincon was the Founder and Managing Director of NeuroCrit, LLC since January 2018. Fred also served as the Medical Director of Cerebrovascular Diseases at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals from July 2017 to June 2020. Fred Rincon has held teaching positions at Thomas Jefferson University, where they were an Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery from July 2015 to June 2020, and an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery from July 2010 to June 2015. Fred gained experience as a Neurologist and Critical Care and Internal Medicine Fellow at Cooper University Hospital from July 2008 to June 2010. Fred Rincon also completed fellowships at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, including Neurocritical Care and Stroke Fellow from July 2005 to June 2008, and Neurology Resident from July 2002 to June 2005. Their career began as an Internal Medicine Resident at HHC from May 2000 to July 2002.

Fred Rincon has an extensive education history. Fred obtained a MD degree in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in 1996. Fred then pursued a MSc degree in Epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they completed an MBE degree in Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, from 2008 to 2012. More recently, in 2021, they acquired an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Additionally, Fred Rincon has obtained multiple certifications in various fields such as diversity, equity, and inclusion, neurovascular interpretation, critical care, and neurology.
