Aalesh Thakkar

Aalesh Thakkar is an accomplished professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience in security architecture and engineering. Since April 2019, Aalesh has served as the Manager of Security Architecture and Automation at Copart, where Aalesh has successfully built and mentored a team of security engineers while enhancing interdepartmental collaboration. Previous roles include Lead Security Engineer, playing a crucial part in establishing Copart’s first in-house global SOC, and Senior Security Engineer at Zyston LLC, where Aalesh handled significant security threats and investigations. Aalesh's experiences also encompass roles at Cisco as an ICS/SCADA Security Analyst and as a junior consultant at Quacito LLC, where Aalesh developed security awareness programs. Aalesh holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University.
