Ian Olliffe

Ian Olliffe is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in medical documentation, research, and healthcare support. Currently serving as Associate Editorial Director at the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine, Ian manages the peer review process and has optimized editorial workflow efficiency. Concurrently, Ian works as a Medical Scribe for Optum, documenting patient encounters in a clinic predominantly serving Spanish-speaking patients. Ian's research experience includes serving as a Research Study Liaison at UCI Health, managing a food insecurity screening project funded by a UROP Grant, and conducting clinical research as an Emergency Medicine Research Assistant.
