Tracey Turner has a long and varied career in the business world. In 1998, they began their career as an Associate at Robertson Stephens Securities. In 1994, they became a Consultant at Mercer Management Consulting, where they were known for their expertise in advising clients on how to "grow to greatness". In 1999, they founded and became the CEO of 4charity, the first web service provider for the $200B nonprofit industry. In 2003, they took a year off from their entrepreneurial endeavors to become the CFO of KickStart International, an organization that seeks to lift millions of people in Africa out of poverty. In 2005, they founded and became the CEO of MicroPlace, an eBay Company that enabled Americans to make social investments around the world. In 2011, they became a Founding Board Member of Village Capital, an organization that finds, trains, and invests in entrepreneurs solving real-world problems. In 2018, they became a Board Member of Care Social Ventures. Finally, in 2010, they founded and became the Chairman of Copia Global, which is bringing ecommerce to the Base of the Pyramid.

Tracey Turner began their educational journey in 1985 when they attended Glastonbury High School, graduating in 1989. Tracey then attended Dartmouth College from 1989 to 1993, earning a BA in Engineering and Economics. In 1996, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they earned an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship in 1998.
