Al Downs

Al Downs joined Copley as an Associate in 2021 and is currently responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Previously, Al worked as an Associate for Norland Capital, a software-focused private equity group, and as an Analyst for BKD Capital Advisors, a middle-market investment bank. Prior to entering finance, he worked as legislative staff in the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. Al earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.A. in Economics from Georgetown University.
