Tom Pedron

Tom Pedron has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Tom is currently working as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Copper, where they have been involved in software development on Copper's backend monolith system. Tom has also received a Quarterly Recognition Award for rearchitecting the Copper onboarding flow and Google API data scraping services. Since 2017, Tom has been enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University, pursuing the SEI Software Architecture Professional Certificate in Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Tom has acquired various certifications. In 2015, they completed the "Fundamentals of Marketing" course from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania through Coursera. Furthermore, Tom has obtained several certifications related to cloud computing and software platforms, including the "AWS Certified Developer - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification from AWS in 2020, and the "Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" certification from Coursera in 2020.
