Dave Davis

Dave Davis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, teaching, and library management. Currently serving as a Senior Research Analyst at Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) since August 1994, Dave's primary focus includes research and awareness initiatives, alongside contributions to the Velocity of Content blog. Simultaneously, Dave holds roles as an Editing Reader for the National Writing Board and an Instructor at the University of Chicago, leading online courses on copyright principles within editing and publishing. Throughout a diverse career, Dave has taught historical workshops, managed library services, and developed copyright training programs, earning degrees in Library and Information Science and Medieval European History from The Catholic University of America and a BS in History from Framingham State University.
