Robert de Groot

Robert de Groot has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2014, they co-founded hybrix, an open-source API for blockchain development. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Market Data Analyst at Rabobank, focusing on data analysis and development of risk-related information. In 2015, they transitioned to a Business Analyst role at Rabobank, where they set up a centralized application system for local project initiators.

In 2016, they served as an IT Project Manager at Tinker Travel, streamlining the iteration process for new services. From 2017 to 2017, they worked as a Project Manager at Radically Open Security. In 2019, they became the Head of Incubation at Lisk Center Utrecht, where they set up and managed the incubation program for startups and scale-ups.

In 2019, they joined Kismet as a Country Liaison Netherlands, focusing on risk management assessment of virtual asset service providers. In 2021, they worked as a Process & Information Manager at Gemeente Zeist, managing financial and IT processes.

From 2021 to 2023, they served as a Startup Program Manager at Ethereum Swarm, driving the development of a censorship-resistant storage and communication infrastructure.

Most recently, they joined Copyright Delta as the Web 3.0 Lead in November 2022, overseeing web development efforts. Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated their expertise in innovation, project management, and risk assessment in various roles and industries.

Robert de Groot has a education history that includes a Pre-Master in Management from Nyenrode Business University, a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Communication Management from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), and a Master in Public Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

In addition to their formal education, Robert de Groot also obtained a certification in WFT Basis (Financial Supervision Act) from NIBE-SVV opleider voor de financiële dienstverlening in June 2015.
