Assen Kolov

Assen Kolov has over 10 years of work experience. Assen began their career in 2012 as the Owner of Kolov IT. In 2013, they took on the role of External Java Developer at ANWB. In 2014, they were a Technical Lead at Powerhouse, followed by a Solution Architect position at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer (freelance) at Belleron - Financial Crime Fighters. In 2017, they were a Scala Engineer (freelance) at TNT, and in 2018 they were a Scala Engineer (freelance) at eBay. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Technical Lead and Scala Consultant at NewMotion. Currently, they are a Scala Consultant at DPG Recruitment and will soon begin a Software Engineer role at Coralogix in 2022.

Assen Kolov obtained a M.Sc. in Automation and Telemechanichs in 1985. In 2021, they were awarded the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2020, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera. In 2017, they were awarded the Inzicht in Invloed from Bureau Zuidema. In 2014, they completed the Game Theory course from Coursera. In 2013, they completed the Machine Learning, Introduction to Data Science, Synapses, Neurons and Brains, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala courses from Coursera.
