Gerard Madorell

Gerard Madorell has worked in the software engineering industry since 2013. In that year, they began working as a Game Developer and Data Engineer at Akamon Entertainment. During their time at Akamon, they also worked as an IT Intern. In 2016, Gerard joined Letgo as a Backend Software Engineer, where they were part of the team responsible for setting up the infrastructure that allowed the startup to grow and become a top app in the USA and the top 1 second-hand marketplace app in Turkey. In 2020, Gerard began working as a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Esports Entertainment Group (NASDAQ: GMBL). Currently, they are a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Coralogix.

Gerard Madorell obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 2011 and 2015, specializing in Computation. Gerard also holds three additional certifications: Financial Markets from Yale University through Coursera obtained in May 2018, Functional Programming Course in Scala from Habla Computing obtained in March 2017, and Machine Learning from Coursera obtained in May 2014.
