Barbara White

Chief Medical Officer & Head, Research at Corbus Pharma

Dr. Barbara White is the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Research at Corbus Pharmaceuticals. Barbara has been with the company since June 2014, and in their current role they are responsible for developing strategy, team structure, and governance processes for the company, as well as managing development activities from pre-IND status to Phase 3. Prior to their current role, they served as the SVP and Head of R&D at Stiefel, a GSK company, and as VP and Head of the Immunology Therapeutic Area at UCB.

Dr. White is a key decision maker on business development opportunities and is one of the main external faces of Corbus Pharmaceuticals to regulatory agencies, academia, and professional organizations. Barbara has extensive experience with equity raises and obtaining non-dilutive funding, and has built clinical and medical affairs teams, initial quality and regulatory groups, and focused research teams.

Barbara White has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Wilson College, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and various certification from the [American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Barbara has also completed fellowships in Type: Allergy and Immunology as well as Rheumatology from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Her field is in T cell immunology and they currently work at the National Institutes of Health. ]

Their manager is Yuval Cohen, CEO. They are on a team with Rachael Brake - Chief Scientific Officer, Christina Bertsch - Head, Human Resources, and Craig Millian - Chief Commercial Officer.
