Shabbir Wakhariya began their career in 1987 as an Associate Attorney at Little & Co. In 1992, they moved to Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where they served as a Partner, Special Counsel, and Associate Attorney. In 2013, they became the General Counsel for Core Technology Services, Inc., where they provided legal guidance to the founder and board members on various business initiatives in the USA and globally. Finally, in 2012, they founded a full service law firm, Wakhariya & Wakhariya, where they acted as the Principal outside general counsel to international companies and regularly advised on cross-border M&A, Joint-Ventures, Licensing, Governance, Compliance, HR, Intellectual Property, and Regulatory matters.

Shabbir Wakhariya has an extensive educational background. Shabbir obtained a Master of Laws - LLM from Duke University School of Law, a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Economics & Political Science from St. Xavier's College. Additionally, they have an Advanced Certificate in International Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
