Kelsey Shirk

Kelsey Shirk is a skilled Physician Assistant with extensive experience in the medical field. Currently employed at CORE Occupational Medicine since April 2021, Kelsey previously worked at Envision Healthcare from April 2016 to April 2021. Kelsey also served as an EMT-B with the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad from February 2011 to March 2014 and with the Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad from May 2011 to November 2012. An academic background includes a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies obtained from Jefferson College of Health Sciences (2013-2015) and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Virginia Tech (2009-2013), where Kelsey contributed as an undergraduate researcher in a project focused on the biophysical mechanisms of magnetic compass orientation in mice.
