David Edwards

David Edwards has extensive experience in explosive ordnance disposal and safety training, currently serving in a semi-retired capacity at CORE Safety Group since December 2021. David has been a Lead UXO Instructor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Relyant Global since April 2017. Prior to that, David worked as a Corporate Safety Specialist at PIKA International, Inc. from May 2015 to March 2017. David's earlier role as an Instructor, Evaluator, and Subject Matter Expert at the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal School from 2009 to 2014 involved training multinational teams on the access and recovery of buried unexploded ordnance. David holds an Associate's degree in Explosive Ordnance/Bomb Disposal from the Community College of the Air Force, earned between 1977 and 1997.
