Jonathan Houk

Jonathan Houk has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Jonathan is currently working as the Vice President of Cyber Security Operations at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. Prior to this, they founded and managed ForeCyber, a security startup aimed at helping businesses navigate the risks associated with running a business. Jonathan has also held various roles at Knights of Columbus, including Sr. Security Architect, Director Information Security (CISO), and Security Architect. Jonathan has also worked as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Hartford Steam Boiler and served as the Vice President of Product and Chief Information Security Officer at Candescent Health. In addition, they have held leadership positions at RADISPHERE NATIONAL RADIOLOGY GROUP, INC., Virtusa, InSource Consulting, Travelers, and Architect of the Capitol, where they gained experience in management, strategic planning, and change management.

Jonathan Houk has a B.S. degree in Management from National Louis University (1996-1997) and a CIS Diploma in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University (1996-1997). Jonathan also holds an Associates degree in General Studies from Hagerstown Junior College (1990-1992). Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications including "Prompt Engineering" from Vanderbilt University (2023), various Google Cloud Infrastructure certifications from Coursera (2020), "Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking" from Cybrary (2020), "CISSP Cert Prep: 1 Security and Risk Management" from LinkedIn (2016), and others from lynda.com and ExecRank.
