Katie Sloan

Katie Sloan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Most recently, they worked as the Marketing Director at Core Technology Systems, where they were responsible for creating and delivering the company's marketing strategy to achieve growth targets. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Marketing & Strategic Partner Management at Timico, overseeing marketing strategy and managing strategic vendor partner relationships. Katie also has experience as a Marketing & Communications Consultant, where they provided freelance marketing strategy and content creation for small businesses. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Head of Marketing, Communications & Events at The Fidelity Group, Arbonne Independent Consultant, PRINCE2 Certified Projects and Event Manager at EBITS LLP, and Law Office & Communications Manager at Carden & Co. Katie has also served in various roles within the government sector, including Senior Communications Officer and Secretariat & Event Team member at the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, as well as Parliamentary Communications Officer at the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.

Katie Sloan attended Canberra Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2007, studying Bachelor of Design (FD). Prior to that, they studied at Narrabundah College from 2004 to 2005. Katie completed their high school education at Telopea Park School from 2000 to 2003. In addition, Katie obtained a PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner certification from Knowledge Train in August 2016.
