Irina Shabalina

Irina Shabalina has over 15 years of work experience in various roles, predominantly in the technology industry. Irina most recently served as Senior Director of Product Development at Core42 starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at G42 from 2015 to 2023, where they held multiple roles including Director Solutions Architecture and Product Solutions Lead. At G42, they led international technical pre-sales, aligned strategies, promoted collaborative leadership, and developed frameworks and processes. Before joining G42, Irina worked at WMATA as a Senior Business Analyst from 2014 to 2015, where they designed a web-based application and conducted testing. Irina also worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at WMATA and EastBanc Technologies in 2012 and 2011 respectively, where they developed BI solutions and analyzed requirements. Irina started their career as a Senior Product Manager at Infosoft in 2010 and as a Product Manager at Russian Meat Holding Company from 2007 to 2010. Irina also worked as a Business Analyst at SibTehnoSoft in 2006 and as a Software Engineer at Garnec in 2005. Overall, Irina has demonstrated their expertise in product development, solutions architecture, business analysis, and project management throughout their career.

Irina Shabalina holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science in Economics from Altay Technical University in Russia. Irina has also obtained a certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, Irina has completed the Developing Emerging Leaders program in Organizational Leadership at INSEAD. In 2019, they obtained a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
