Aimesther O. Betancourt

Aimesther O. Betancourt is a Senior Formulation Scientist at Corealis Pharma Inc., with a tenure beginning in January 2008, where expertise includes the characterization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) through various analytical techniques such as X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and simultaneous thermal analysis, among others. Prior experience includes positions as a Teaching Assistant at Université du Québec à Montréal from 2005 to 2007, and as a Student at the National Research Council Canada Biotechnology Research Institute during the same period, completing a Master's Degree research project. Aimesther Betancourt served as a Professor and Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Matanzas, Cuba, from 1994 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Matanzas, along with additional studies at the Instituto Politécnico de Química in Havana, Cuba.
