Chris Nixon

Chris Nixon is a trusted and respected legal counselor who has demonstrated expertise throughout her career.

As General Counsel of Corebridge Financial, Chris oversees the company’s legal functions and provides strategic counsel to the retirement, life insurance and institutional markets businesses.

Past roles include Deputy General Counsel of AIG, General Counsel of AIG Retirement Services, and Deputy Chief Legal Counsel and Secretary for SunAmerica Inc. Earlier in her career, she was with the law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter and Hampton. She is an active member of the State Bar of California.
