Josh Shemwell

Josh Shemwell has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as Information Technology Supervisor at CoreCivic since January 2007 and previously as IT Senior Field Engineer. Alongside technical roles, Josh is actively engaged in community service as a volunteer firefighter for multiple fire departments, including Greenville Fire Department and Central City Volunteer Fire Department, where responsibilities include serving on the Board of Directors in various capacities. Additionally, Josh is the owner of Shemwell Technology, a small business dedicated to providing technology services to local clients. Other past roles include contract specialist, house framer, and welder/fabricator, demonstrating a diverse skill set across different industries.
