Ammar Alipo-On

Ammar Alipo-on has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data analysis, systems analysis, and data engineering. Ammar is currently working as a Principal Advanced Data Solutions & Analytics at CoreLogic, where they contribute to the development of next-gen data products using emerging technologies like big data analytics, machine learning, and cloud native application development.

Previously, they worked as an AVP of Systems Analysis & Data Analytics at PennyMac Loan Services, LLC. In this role, they led data analysis and engineering teams to deliver projects focused on machine learning, data pipelines, and data analytics. Ammar played a crucial role in the development of an internal machine learning application that resulted in multi-million dollars in annual revenue savings. Ammar also worked on designing a data engineering pipeline within AWS services and data ecosystems.

Before their role at PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, Ammar worked as a Senior Systems & Data Analyst and Systems & Data Analyst at the same company. In these roles, they oversaw data and business systems analysis, led marketing technology projects, and implemented process improvements. Ammar also managed data analysis to identify and address operational compliance and customer experience issues.

Ammar Alipo-on started their career at Bank of America, where they held various roles including Officer, Senior Business Control Specialist, Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst, and Loan Review Analyst.

Ammar Alipo-on is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Computational Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, from 2019 to 2024. Ammar also completed a Machine Learning Engineer Bootcamp at FourthBrain in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Liberty University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Ammar has acquired certifications in Python programming, business analytics, SQL scripting, and database programming.
