Jim Balas

Jim Balas has extensive experience in finance and corporate development. Jim most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at CoreLogic from April 2016 onwards. Prior to that, they held the role of SVP Finance, Principal Accounting Officer, and Controller at CoreLogic from March 2011 to April 2016. Before joining CoreLogic, Jim was the Vice President and Corporate Controller at Ameron International from April 2009 to March 2011. Jim also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Solar Integrated Technologies from October 2008 to April 2009, and as the Vice-President of Finance from February 2006 to October 2008. Earlier in their career, Jim worked as the Director of Corporate Development at Keystone Automotive from November 2003 to February 2006, and as a Senior Manager in Corporate Development at Capgemini from May 2000 to November 2003. Jim began their career at Ernst & Young LLP, where they worked as a Senior Manager in Corporate Development from October 1993 to May 2000.

Jim Balas earned their MBA from USC Marshall School of Business from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at California State University-Long Beach - College of Business, obtaining a BS in Accounting from 1990 to 1993. Jim Balas also holds the certification of California Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
