Sonny Childs

Sonny Childs is an experienced analyst currently working at Coremont since November 2021, where responsibilities include addressing trader queries across various sectors, conducting demonstrations of the Portfolio Management System, and ensuring valuation procedures are completed. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Analyst focusing on quantitative analysis and risk reporting, a Trader Assistant for a Macro Derivatives Hedge Fund, and a Portfolio Compression Graduate. Prior to Coremont, Sonny worked at Baker Hughes as a Commercial Operations Intern, successfully coordinating proposals for significant tenders in the APAC region. Sonny's career began at Alpha Services Group as a Supervisory Steward and included a role as a Customer Advisor at Northumbrian Water Group. Sonny holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from the University of St Andrews.
