Sarah Blau is currently serving as a Research and Development Intern at CorInnova, Inc. since August 2023, where prototypes for a non-blood-contacting cardiac compression device have been developed. Prior to this, Sarah gained valuable experience as a Clinical Innovation Intern at Hospital Nacional de Niños, focusing on device prototyping to enhance medical procedures. With significant leadership experience at Epic from August 2019 to March 2023, Sarah founded and led an ambulatory women's health workgroup, while simultaneously supporting health systems as a Technical Solutions Engineer. Earlier roles include a Product Development Intern at BioMedomics, Inc. and a Research Assistant at Vision and Image Processing Lab. Sarah holds a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University.
