Tom Fitzmaurice

Tom Fitzmaurice is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and technology management. Currently serving as the IMaR Technology Gateway Manager at Munster Technological University since November 2016, Tom specializes in providing research, development, and innovation services focused on intelligent mechatronics, automation, RFID, and Industrial IoT. Previously, Tom was a Business Development Manager for Applied IoT, facilitating connections between R&D resources and industry for IoT innovations. Tom's extensive career includes roles as Senior Technical Manager at G2 Metric Ltd., Owner of 4G Metrology Ltd. and Visual Reality Enterprises, Inc., as well as Contract Inspection Manager at SMX Corp. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Munster Technological University, earned between 1986 and 1991.
