Denis Ovchinnikov

Denis Ovchinnikov has a diverse range of work experience. In 2012, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at the "Sovenok" olympiad group for high-school students, where they taught classes to 7th to 11th grade students and achieved outstanding results in national and international mathematics competitions. From 2014 to 2020, Denis worked at Stevens Institute of Technology, initially as a Graduate Teacher and later as a Graduate Student Researcher. During this time, they published papers on various topics in algebra and presented their work at research seminars and conferences. Their responsibilities included creating and analyzing algorithms and applying complexity theory. In 2021, Denis had a Software Developer Internship at Gradarius, where they utilized C++ and Python to improve the online mathematics learning platform. Denis also worked on maintaining a NoSQL database and designing an online tool to extract business insights from the database. Currently, Denis is a Software Engineer at Cornami, Inc., starting in February 2022.

Denis Ovchinnikov has a strong educational background in mathematics and applied mathematics. Denis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 2010 to 2014. Later, they pursued further studies and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the Stevens Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2020.

In addition to their academic degrees, Denis Ovchinnikov also obtained a certification in IBM Data Science from IBM in August 2021. This certification further expands their expertise in the field of data science, complementing their strong foundation in mathematics.
