Jim Watkins

Jim Watkins is a Senior Research Associate at Cornell University, where since January 2011, research has focused on food web dynamics in the Great Lakes. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral position dedicated to the same research area and serving as an Assistant Scientist at Sea Education Association from 1999 to 2004, where instructional responsibilities were undertaken. Earlier, Jim Watkins contributed to biological oceanography research as a Research Assistant at Oregon State University from 1996 to 1999. Academic credentials include a PhD in Natural Resources from Cornell University (2006-2011), a MS in Oceanography from Oregon State University (1991-1995), and a BA in Geology from Cornell University (1985-1989).
