Lillian E. Agosto-Maldonado is an experienced professional in communication, culture, and media studies, currently serving as a Graduate Research Fellow at the National Museum of the American Latino since July 2023. In addition, Lillian works as a Graduate Research Assistant at Howard University on Project REFOCUS, contributing to public health resources. As CEO of Periódico de Ayer and founder/editor of Mundos Paralelos, Lillian engages in bilingual content production and promotes Puerto Rican identity. Lillian has held several academic positions, including Director at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón's EntreMedios program and roles as Associate and Adjunct Professor. Previous work includes social media strategy and journalism for various media outlets. Lillian is pursuing a Ph.D. in Communication, Culture and Media Studies at Howard University, building on an academic foundation that includes master's and bachelor's degrees in Puerto Rican studies and journalism respectively.
