Jody Gangloff-Kaufmann

Jody Gangloff-Kaufmann is a Community IPM Coordinator and Senior Extension Associate at Cornell University's New York State IPM Program, specializing in integrated pest management for urban settings since July 1999. With expertise in managing pests such as stinging insects, ticks, cockroaches, rodents, and bed bugs, Jody has collaborated with schools, municipalities, and private properties to develop effective IPM strategies. Jody previously served as President of Vespa Pest Consulting, Inc. from 2010 to 2016, providing expert pest management consulting. Additionally, Jody holds the rank of Ex-Captain from the Babylon Fire Department, with experience as a firefighter and heavy rescue specialist from 2002 to September 2014. Jody earned a Ph.D. in Entomology from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New York University.
