Rana Sagha Zadeh

Rana Sagha Zadeh, PhD, M.Arch, serves as an Associate Professor with tenure at Cornell University in the Department of Design & Environmental Analysis and the Department of Systems Engineering since June 2019. As Co-Director of Cornell's Health Design Innovations Lab since January 2013, Rana leads a multidisciplinary team focused on innovative healthcare environments. An independent consultant since August 2002, Rana applies a human-centered and user experience approach in systems integration, working with various community entities, health systems, and global authorities. Rana has also held positions as a Visiting Associate Professor at The University of British Columbia and a consultant for the World Health Organization. Educational background includes a PhD in Architecture with a concentration in Health Systems and Design from Texas A&M University, completed in 2012.
