Mark Chan

Mark Chan currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore, since January 2024, and co-director of the Cardiovascular Disease National Collaborative Enterprise (CADENCE) at the Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation, Singapore, since January 2023. Mark has been a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the National University Heart Centre since December 2009 and holds the position of Associate Professor with tenure at the National University of Singapore since 2013. Previous roles include Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Montreal Heart Institute and Cardiology Research Fellow at Duke Clinical Research Institute, where Mark was co-chief fellow. Mark Chan earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Utrecht University, and a Master of Health Sciences (M.H.Sc) in Clinical Research from Duke University.
