Jay Stern

Jay Stern is an accomplished academic and filmmaker with extensive experience in the arts and film industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor with Tenure at Rider University since September 2018, Jay has also been the Director and Producer for The Bardy Bunch since July 2011. As a Producer for the Iron Mule Short Comedy Film Series, established in April 2002, and the long-running Iron Mule Short Comedy Film Festival, which screens monthly in New York City, Jay plays a vital role in promoting short comedy films. Additional notable projects include production and direction roles in "The Adventures of Paul and Marian," and "Spirit Cabinet," as well as contributing as a Producer for various other comedy initiatives. Jay holds a Master's degree in Media Philosophy from the European Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Writing and German from Columbia University.
